How you'll make an impact:

• Take charge of a diverse portfolio of local authority public and employer liability claims, covering property damage, personal injury, and officials’ indemnity.
• Use your expertise to assess liability, evaluate claims, and negotiate fair settlements.
• Build strong relationships by working closely with clients, brokers, suppliers, insurers, and claimants, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
• Offer trusted guidance and expert advice to clients at every stage of the claims process.
• Inspire and mentor junior team members, helping them grow and succeed.
• Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and boost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in handling high value local authority employer liability (EL) and public liability (PL) claims.
• Solid understanding of insurance principles and regulatory compliance.
• Natural ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively.
• Skilled at managing workload, staying organised, and meeting deadlines.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-focused, highly organised, and confident in assessing liability and quantum across a range of claims.
