Role Description

The North America Commercial Leader is a pivotal leadership role within Gallagher’s Global Communication Consulting Practice, responsible for overseeing the delivery of our North America growth targets, while ensuring quality and profitability. This role requires a strategic leader and collaborative partner who can work within and across the practice, business line and division to achieve business success by the following:

• Identifying winning pursuit and delivery teams, working collaboratively with Producers, North America MD, North America Sales Leader, National Growth Resources and Region Leaders.
• Supporting scoping, pricing, negotiations and contracting for clients and new client onboarding.
• Monitoring individual utilization and resource needs, fostering a sense of community across teams.
• Providing accurate and timely financial forecasts to Practice and Business Line Finance teams.
• Working closely with Global Communications Finance Leader for the annual budgeting process.
• Contributing to the success of our business strategy through strategic M&A pursuits, an account management process and the Annual Planning Process.
• Overseeing ways to mitigate risk and drive quality control measures with our consulting and delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field; MBA Preferred.
• 20+ years experience in communication consulting.
• Experience working in a global consulting / professional services organization.

Requirements

• Oversee the delivery of our revenue and EBITDA targets, ensuring quality and profitability across all client engagements.
• Review project pricing to ensure projects are priced appropriately and support Region Leaders and client teams on justifications to collect out-of-scope charges when warranted.
• Assemble pursuit and delivery teams based on skills and capacity, ensuring optimal team performance and client satisfaction.
• Support the onboarding of new clients, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with Gallagher's Professional Standards.
• Monitor individual utilization rates and identify the need for additional resources to support business growth.
• Develop and implement robust account management processes to support client growth and retention.
• Instill a sense of community across teams, encouraging consistent ways of working and collaboration.
• Ensure accurate financial forecasting to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
• Identify, monitor, and raise business risks, implementing strategies to mitigate potential impacts.
• Support the long and medium-term success of our business strategy through active participation in the Annual planning process.
