[Hiring] Commercial & Contracts Lead @GE Vernova

Role Description

GE Vernova is seeking a qualified and experienced Commercial & Contracts Lead to support all our projects in the Americas Pole.

Location: Houston / Schenectady / Atlanta or Remote

Position Required: C&C Commercial & Contracts Lead (ITO)

Working Hours: 40 hours Mon-Fri

The successful candidate will serve as the commercial guardian of our ITO lifecycle. You will be responsible for the comprehensive review, risk assessment, and strategic input into all bid stages. This role ensures that our contractual commitments are aligned with our business capabilities, margin targets, and risk appetite—streamlining our responses into a consistent message from the C&C function.

Key Responsibilities

• Bid Lifecycle Oversight: Participate in all stages of the "R" process, from initial RFI/RFP receipt to final bid submission.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify, assess, and document commercial and operational risks for field execution in prospective bids; propose and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Contractual Integrity: Review and redline terms and conditions to ensure they align with GE Vernova's standard business practices, policies, and the C&C/OFS approach to execution.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary bridge between sales, engineering, finance, and legal teams to ensure a unified approach to each bid within the Americas Pole.
• Strategic Input: Provide commercial insights during the pre-bid phase to influence deal structure, pricing models, and scope definition.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure all bids adhere to internal Delegation of Authority (DOA) and approval processes.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of site execution and the operational challenges faced by field teams.
• Strong understanding of EPC and Owner challenges to overall project execution.
• Demonstrated expertise in GEV's approach to risk mitigation in high-stakes environments.
