[Hiring] Clinical Operations Manager @Syneos Health

Role Description

The Clinical Operations Manager will be responsible for three primary performance areas:

• Customer Delivery and Success:
  • Develops and fosters strong, collaborative relationships with customers.
  • Solicits feedback from customer Points of Contact (PoC) for continuous improvement of service delivery.
  • Responsible for delivery and compliance with agreed-upon KPIs.
  • Manages headcount to ensure resource needs are identified and addressed.
  • Proactively communicates and manages customer issues through assigned escalation channels.
  • Ensures quality and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures/Work Instructions (SOP/WIs).
  • Conducts oversight visits as required for Clinical Research Associates.
  • Responsible for all system updates and compliance with relevant procedures.
• Business Impact:
  • Responsible for knowledge sharing across the team to disseminate best practices.
  • Makes informed and data-driven decisions that positively impact team performance.
  • Responsible for delivering business unit revenue targets by attracting and retaining talent.
  • May serve as a Company representative at professional meetings or seminars.
• People Leadership:
  • Responsible for active management of team members’ performance.
  • Verifies adherence to training guidelines and maintains training records.
  • Provides administrative oversight (e.g., HR processes, timecards, expense reports).
  • Supports team members’ professional development through coaching.
  • Proactively works to ensure team engagement and retention.
  • Demonstrates commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Experience in clinical operations management.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships.
• Knowledge of federal and local guidelines and ICH GCPs.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
