What you’ll do

In this role, you’ll use your knowledge of the varying climate issues we face to develop and shape the next iteration of our climate campaign strategy to stop Big Polluters from continuing to devastate communities and the planet.

• Work closely with our Managing Director of Campaigns alongside our research, broader campaigns, and communications teams.
• Collaborate with allies and coalition partners to deepen existing partnerships and build new ones.
• Develop and execute strategy meetings to create plans for success.
• Manage financial and logistical systems for the campaign.

Who you are

• You are committed to advancing racial equity and ending systems of oppression.
• You are a seasoned organizer with experience in creating and implementing strong campaign plans.
• You have experience organizing decision makers across varying sectors.
• You know how to manage from a place of leadership.
• You’re a team player at heart.
• You can work under pressure and come up with creative solutions.
• You have at least 5 years of experience in corporate campaigning, climate organizing, or other relevant fields.

What you’ll be responsible for in the day-to-day

• Lead the climate campaign development in alignment with organizational priorities and budgets.
• Partner with key allies and coalition partners to monitor and develop member organizing opportunities.
• Drive forward climate campaign goals by leading staff and managing timelines.
• Work closely with the communications team to integrate campaign strategies.
• Support the facilitation of strategic planning meetings.
• Oversee and execute key administrative functions for the climate campaign.
• Collaborate with the development team to provide campaign insights to fundraisers.
• Travel 4 - 6 times each year for various events and meetings.
• Actively participate in organization-wide planning and activities.

Salary and Benefits

• Hours: 32 hours per week with flexible scheduling.
• Health insurance with 90% of the premium covered.
• Generous time off policies including one month of personal vacation time.
• $40/month home office stipend and $250 for home office setup.
• Training and leadership development opportunities.
• Salary: $80,000.

Location

Remote with the option to transition or utilize our Campaign Headquarters in downtown Boston, MA.
