[Hiring] Clerk IV – Child Support @Cook County State's Attorney's Office

Role Description

The Clerk IV/Child Support position involves various administrative duties within the Child Support Enforcement division.

• Update and process cases as they return from court
• Prepare documents to be filed electronically
• Prepare the daily court call
• Process incoming mail
• Answer incoming calls, transfer to appropriate personnel and forward problem calls to the supervisor
• Maintain confidentiality of information and systems
• Interact with State’s Attorney’s Office employees and personnel of outside agencies
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently

Requirements

• CARES and Clerks computer knowledge preferred
• Typing speed of 50+wpm
