[Hiring] Carrier Sourcing Representative @ARS Logistics

Role Description

ARS Logistics (Authorized Agent of Trinity Logistics) is hiring a dedicated Carrier Sourcing Representative whose whole job is building capacity:

• Make high-volume outbound calls and emails to carriers, dispatchers, and owner-operators to source capacity on assigned lanes.
• Build and maintain a carrier bench for every target lane, keeping it current in our CRM / TMS.
• Secure capacity and rate commitments weeks ahead for operations and account managers.
• Find capacity that never reaches a load board, including asset carriers’ headhaul and backhaul lanes.
• Vet every new carrier before offering freight, ensuring compliance and safety.
• Collect carrier rate feedback for customer quotes and RFPs / RFQs.
• Keep relationships warm with regular check-ins and fast resolution of issues.
• Report weekly on lanes covered, carriers added, committed capacity, and cost versus market.

Qualifications

• 1+ year (2+ preferred) in carrier sales, capacity sourcing, or carrier development at a U.S. freight brokerage / 3PL.
• Proven outbound phone volume: comfortable making 60+ carrier calls a day.
• Working knowledge of DAT and / or Truckstop load boards and rate data.
• Understanding of carrier compliance and common double-brokering schemes.
• Clear, confident spoken English and professional written English.
• Disciplined record keeping in a CRM / TMS.
• Operational in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Reliable remote setup: backup power, internet, computer, and noise-cancelling headset.
• Availability during core U.S. Eastern business hours.

Requirements

• Experience building dedicated or recurring-lane carrier programs.
• Familiarity with carrier onboarding / monitoring tools.
• Experience with Dialpad or similar VoIP phone systems; Zoho or another CRM.
• Prior experience supporting a Trinity Logistics agency or another agent-model brokerage.
• Knowledge of reefer, flatbed, drayage, or cross-border (Mexico) carrier networks; Spanish is a plus.

Benefits

• Compensation: $940 – $1,150 USD per month, based on experience, plus a performance incentive.
• 15 paid business days per calendar year after 90 days.

Engagement Details

• Engagement type: Remote independent contractor, Philippines-based.
• Core availability: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM U.S. Eastern.
• Occasional after-hours carrier calls (infrequent).
• Reports to: Operations Manager.
• Travel: None.
