[Hiring] BIM Coordinator / VDC Coordinator @DLB Associates

Role Description

The BIM Coordinator will support the MEP Engineers and coordinate across various groups. The scope of work will involve both small and large-scale mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection projects. This person will be responsible for managing BIM related technologies, processes, support, and training.

• Analyze systems and processes.
• Develop and maintain standards and procedures.
• Educate and train staff to enhance efficiency of design and production staff.
• Communicate and operate in line with organizational goals and values, as well as departmental objectives.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, construction, or related discipline.
• One to three years of experience producing construction documents using Revit and/or AutoCAD.
• Minimum of three years of experience producing construction documents using Revit and/or AutoCAD.

Requirements

• Ability to work successfully in a remote environment through effective communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of training and adult learning methodologies.
• Knowledge of Revit.
• Knowledge of engineering design principles.
• Knowledge of producing industry standard work products (e.g. construction drawings) for engineering systems in buildings.
• Skilled at using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Skilled in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively plan and delegate the work of others.
• Ability to manage production of multiple drawings/projects at the same time.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
• Ability to work successfully as a member of a team.
• Ability to follow company and site safety requirements.
• Ability to analyze and prepare documents, reports, and correspondence.
• Ability to identify and analyze complex problems, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutions.
