[Hiring] Bids & Tenders Specialist @Fortive

Role Description

The Bids & Tenders Specialist UK & Nordics will manage tenders, quotations, contracts, and pricing as well as other ad-hoc activities in UK and Scandinavia and potentially other regions in EMEA should there be a business need.

• Lead pre-tender monitoring activities, requirement assessment and liaise with Commercial, Legal, Marketing, Tax/Finance, HR, Quality, Regulatory and Compliance teams to gather required documentation to participate.
• Work with Sales to develop pricing strategy, submit tenders and lead post-tender monitoring.
• Cooperate with Commercial, Customer Service and Finance departments on Price Governance, including managing approvals for different types of deals and contract compliance.
• Show an understanding that B&T actions can directly impact SOX and engage in active collaboration towards it.
• Manage Bids and Tender Tracking, Contracts, and Price reporting.
• Independently drive the development of tender responses in close cooperation with mainly the Commercial as well as other departments.
• Ensure on-time approval of economic and technical proposals part of the tender packages.
• Manage all relevant administrative documents.
• Manage direct contact with customers to clarify tender questions and ad-hoc requests.
• Manage SalesForce & SAP systems to create quotes & execute customer-related actions.
• Manage continuous improvement of reporting tools and review processes.
• Ensure accurate update of systems and databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Swedish. Other language skills are also a strong asset.
• Strong experience with commercial departments (Sales, Marketing and Finance).
• Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management tools, especially Salesforce and SAP.

• The salary range for this position is €38,600 - €64,400.
• This position is also eligible for a bonus as part of the total compensation package.
