Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Audio Annotator to join our team in creating high-quality training data for machine learning models. This remote position offers an immediate start date and requires expertise in audio transcription with a focus on precise annotation and timestamp marking.
- Transcribe English audio files with timestamp annotations
- Identify and mark incorrect pronunciations within the audio
- Document speech elements including fillers, pauses, and background noise
- Note instances of multiple speakers in recordings
- Provide annotations in structured JSON format
- Maintain high accuracy standards in transcription work
- Meet project deadlines and quality benchmarks
Qualifications
- Native or native-level English language proficiency
- Minimum 1 year of experience in transcription and annotation for AI/ML projects
- Good understanding of Indian regional accents and speech patterns
- Excellent attention to detail and consistency
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work independently
- Reliable internet connection
- Computer with audio capabilities
- Familiarity with transcription tools and JSON formatting
