The ideal candidate is driven by a deep sense of ownership, striving to create and run a class-leading onboarding experience for our customers. In your role, you’ll be given the freedom and support to explore a better way to onboard our customers.
- Report to the Fincrime Ops Associate and work closely with the broader service guild
- Help new customers get started, ensuring they onboard and pass verification checks quickly
- Collect, review, and manage documents as the main contact for customer cases
- Assist in creating reports for the team to improve onboarding processes and fincrime prevention measures
- Support ongoing checks on customer risks, money laundering, and fraud
- Check alerts and investigate suspicious activity, reporting it to the National Crime Agency
- Spot trends in financial crime and develop solutions
- Conduct quality checks to ensure top-notch work
- Challenge current business practices and implement genuine improvements
Qualifications
- Experience working in a hands-on fincrime prevention role, preferably onboarding
- Comfort talking to customers and clearly communicating needs
- Demonstrable experience of conducting enhanced customer due diligence
- Empathy and a strong desire to ensure compassionate support for customers
- Clear and concise written communication skills
- Good judgement balancing experimentation and tried-and-tested solutions
- A high degree of comfort adopting new software tools for document drafting, collaboration, and communication
- A love of writing with a focus on clarity and readability
