Role Description

This role involves performing audits, vulnerability assessments, security testing, and working with operations teams on remediation and mitigation of audit findings.

  • In charge of security system deployments, configuration, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Handle the implementation, maintenance, and integration of security controls of the corporate WAN, LAN, and server architecture.
  • Maintain, configure, and analyze network and host-based security platforms.
  • Provide world-class service to teammates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for implementation and administration of endpoint and network security appliances, hardware and software, enforcing TaskUs security policies and complying with external security audits and recommendations.
  • Maintain, configure, and analyze network and host-based security platforms.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and investigate security-related information systems anomalies based on security platform reporting, network traffic, log files, host-based and automated security alerts.
  • Evaluate systems using vulnerability scanners and manual techniques to verify system security settings and configurations.
  • Provide reporting from network and host-based security solutions.
  • Provide Incident Response support as needed in response to information security-related events.
  • Participate in DRP exercises and continuous improvement processes.
  • Maintain and update relevant system and process documentation and develop ad-hoc reports as needed.
  • Assist in the development of security tool requirements, trials, and evaluations, as well as security operations procedures and processes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years IT experience; at least 3 of those years focused on IT security.
  • Preferably with information security certification such as CISSP, SSCP, CCIE, or CEH.
  • Hands-on experience in vulnerability scanning, firewall, antivirus & malware analysis, endpoint encryption, proxies, IDS/IPS, log correlation tools, SIEM, DLP, NAC, and WAF is a must.
  • Technical writing, documentation, and communication skills are required.
  • Comfortable working on both Linux-based and MS Windows-based system platforms with a strong IT technical understanding and aptitude for analytical problem-solving.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise, network, system, and application level security issues.
  • Understanding of enterprise computing environments, distributed applications, and TCP/IP networks.
  • Understanding of the system hardening processes, tools, guidelines, and benchmarks is a must.
  • BPO contact center experience preferred, but not required.

Education / Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS/Computer Science or a combination of education and experience.
