Role Description

Music, TikTok, YouTube, playlists - what does the future of the music industry look like? With us, you'll be up close and personal! As a young and dynamically growing company in the music industry founded in 2019, we at CHAPTER EIGHT Records are looking for committed employees for our record labels. The A&R Trainee Program is designed to develop dynamic A&Rs focused on scouting and signing viral tracks, with a strong emphasis on proactive, outbound talent acquisition.

• Talent Scouting: Use TikTok to identify trending and emerging artists, sounds, and music trends.
• Content Curation: Customize a feed to spot new talents and trending music effectively.
• Data-Driven Insights: Utilize specialized tools and platforms to assess new releases and track artist performance.
• Collaboration and Feedback: Participate in weekly meetings to discuss deals, artist outreach, and challenges; maintain close communication with team leads and receive regular feedback.

Qualifications

• Talent Scouting Intuition: No prior experience required; we value a strong sense for trends and the ability to spot potential viral artists.
• Creative skills and an eye for detail to develop innovative tracks.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with artists and partners.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
