[Hiring] Strategic Account Manager @Alliant Purchasing

Role Description

Alliant Purchasing is seeking a Strategic Account Manager. Under general supervision, the Strategic Account Manager performs a wide range of activities associated with day-to-day servicing of current/prospective GPO clients and overall development of Alliant Purchasing programs. The Strategic Account Manager serves as a direct link between Alliant Purchasing and existing GPO clients by managing day-to-day affairs, identifying contract opportunities, ensuring customer support & satisfaction, and increasing overall revenue. This is a US Southeast remote position. We will supply all needed equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field required.
• 5+ years of successful Healthcare experience preferred.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• General knowledge of Healthcare, GPO, Pharmacy, Contracting, or clinical knowledge required.
• Experience in hospitals and/or Long-Term Care.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel, and ability to navigate on the Internet required.
• Ability to travel around region with possibility of 1-2 overnights a week.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to transition smoothly with change (as healthcare is always changing).
• Ability to be proactive in identifying, addressing, and resolving client or program issues.
• Presentation of a professional image and friendly attitude with a positive customer service orientation.
• Ability to identify opportunities and propose appropriate solutions to Senior Vice President.
• Good phone skills to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with customers, new items, or vendors.
• Need to be highly organized and able to handle multiple projects.
• Must be a team player.
