Role Description

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Sr. Account Executive to join our team! The Sr. Account Executive (Sr. AE) is a senior level individual contributor responsible for full strategic ownership of complex client accounts within the health plan and employer PBM space. This role leads sophisticated client relationships and books of broker, consultants and/or TPA Agents, serving as the primary strategic partner for Company level clients with high customization, elevated service needs, and complex benefit designs.

This position plays a critical role in advancing organizational goals by:

• Strengthening long-term client partnerships.
• Increasing adoption of value-added programs.
• Ensuring solutions are aligned with evolving clinical, financial, and utilization trends.

Responsibilities

• Lead full strategic ownership of a highly complex book of business, including employer groups, health plans, and multi consultant relationships.
• Direct client account strategy, including planning, execution, and ongoing refinement based on clinical trends, utilization data, and business insights.
• Maintain trusted executive-level relationships with clients, brokers, and consultants.
• Guide Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) by setting agendas and delivering customized insights and recommendations.
• Upsell value added programs such as AGS and clinical program offerings into client strategies.
• Translate complex reporting and clinical insights into actionable recommendations.
• Resolve complex client issues independently by applying deep operational, contractual, and clinical knowledge.
• Mentor Account Executives team members by sharing best practices and producing training materials.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
• 5-7 years of progressive experience leading highly complex client accounts within the PBM, health plan, healthcare, or related benefits environment required.
• 5 years of demonstrated success managing executive-level client, broker, and consultant relationships required.
• 5 years of experience leading Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and other strategic client engagements required.
• 5 years of experience independently resolving complex account issues required.
• 5 years of experience mentoring peers and contributing to training or cross-functional initiatives required.
• 5 years of working knowledge of claims adjudication processes required.
• 5 years of experience using client reporting systems and analytics tools required.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
• The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees.
