Role Description

The Inside Account Manager (IAM) is a remote inside sales position responsible for providing proactive direct sales support for one or more Enterprise Account Executives (EAEs). The primary areas of responsibility include:

• Functioning as a lead to an inside sales account team.
• Managing client support provided.
• Generating client demand and identifying opportunities for new solutions.
• Maximizing margins and promoting self-service.
• Delivering results to attain revenue and gross profit quotas.
• Occasional in-person customer-facing support.

An IAM is expected to communicate Connection Enterprise’s complete value proposition, demonstrate the MarkITplace platform, and relate its value to clients. The IAM interacts extensively with:

• Manufacturers
• Distribution Partners
• EAEs
• Sales Support teams
• CES Operational Support teams

The IAM manages the daily flow of a client’s business and maintains structured time management practices for proactive client support. Scheduled times for proactive sales cycles must occur daily, ensuring efficient management of the support team. This position assures departmental processes comply with applicable Sarbanes-Oxley controls.

This is a base plus commission role, with earnings varying. Posted salary information is annualized and indicative of the first year of employment. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH HEALTHCARE ACCOUNTS.

Qualifications

• Functions as the lead of an inside sales team, mentoring and delegating support tasks.
• Manages and grows velocity product lines within the existing client base.
• Develops and maintains knowledge of velocity product lines from leading technology market leaders.
• Owns proposals over $25,000, ensuring pricing accuracy and project management.
• Establishes and maintains strategic relationships with clients and partners.
• Prepares, analyzes, and presents client activity reports.
• Provides complex solution proposals requiring technical configuration support.
• Maintains a 4-hour customer response to requests.
• Responsible for daily team communication with customers and partners.
• Participates in and meets minimum Sales Management expectations for quarterly promotions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience to qualify for the role.
• 7 years of total work experience to be fully proficient.
• Strong working knowledge of Salesforce, Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint.
• General degree of technical expertise with data center infrastructure solutions.
• Previous reseller experience in a similar role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work flexible hours to support assigned customer time zones.
