[Hiring] Global Account Director @BCD

Role Description

We are looking for a Global Account Director to join one of our client dedicated teams. In this role you will be directly accountable to achieve both client, and BCD M&E, goals related to:

• Global C&E SMM programme strategy, innovation & optimisation
• Client retention, contractual obligations, and customer ROI goals for the programme
• Financial performance, profitability, quality of service, preferred vendor performance
• Technology, efficiencies, forward thinking thought process and business development

You will work closely with the Operations Teams globally, led by a Global Operations Director, to create a collaborative team environment ensuring accountability for service delivery, resource modeling, analytics, and global operations.

As a Global Account Director, you will:

• Be the primary point of authority for the global client relationship and contract interpretation
• Work with this customer to develop and drive business objectives for the global C&E SMM meetings programme
• Own the global governance model and drive stakeholder engagement at all levels with responsibility and accountability for all client deliverables
• Understand and evaluate customer opportunities for process improvement and technology solutions
• Have thorough knowledge of SMM meeting programmes, their development, staffing and forecasting
• Work under pressure and on multiple projects simultaneously, managing competing priorities

Qualifications

• Experience with Life Science clients and understanding of compliance requirements
• Experience in a global account management role including implementation of global accounts
• Strategic thinker with Strategic meetings management experience
• Proven experience and knowledge of Cvent in support of a SMM Programme
• Analytical capability to review data for insights and trends and turning these into recommendations and strategic objectives
• Demonstrated ability to respond to change accordingly
• Ability to motivate, coach, and develop teams; resolve operational issues by collaborating with the Global Operations Director
• Demonstrated experience in contract negotiations, management and administration of contract terms

Requirements

• This is a UK Remote role that requires travel to meetings around the UK on occasion and travel to key client events
• Our standard working hours are 37.5 hours per week; you must have the ability to flex your work day accordingly due to the Global nature of this account
• You must have the right to work in the UK
