[Hiring] Client Manager @The Standard

Role Description

As a small case client manager, you will coordinate service delivery of products and services to producers and customers and internal partners. Your responsibilities include:

• Building and maintaining effective producer, customer, home office, and field office relationships.
• Initiating and delivering amendments.
• Facilitating service delivery and case onboarding support, including answering contractual and process questions and training brokers and customers.
• Coordinating broker of record change and associated caseload transfers.
• Managing the renewal lifecycle for true group cases of 10-99 lives and meeting or exceeding targets for premium and case retention and profitability.
• Identifying growth opportunities within assigned block to meet or exceed block growth and contribute to sales goals within the hub.
• Managing workload and adhering to established guidelines for customer responsiveness and work timeliness.
• Participating in training and huddles, assisting less experienced peers, and achieving professional growth and development goals.
• Performing administrative tasks in support of general office operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent of education and/or relevant experience.
• 3+ years of customer-facing experience in employee benefits, account management, sales support, customer service, or similar role.
• Professional certification required: Life and Disability insurance license for resident state.
• License must be obtained within 6 months of hire date and kept current by meeting all continuing education, payment, and other state DOI requirements.
• Broad understanding of insurance contracts, statutes, tax regulations, and underwriting guidelines.
• Ability to summarize or paraphrase contract language, reports, and other complex subjects using plain language in both written and verbal form.
