[Hiring] Associate Account Manager @OpenTable

Role Description

This is a remote role, however the incumbent is required to be based in Central Cebu, Philippines to be considered.

As an Associate Account Manager, you will be responsible for leading customer retention and revenue growth within your territory of restaurants and also play a key supporting role to our Account Managers. Part of the role is designed to help the wider Account Management team operate more efficiently by taking ownership of administrative, operational, and follow-up tasks that support customer retention, product adoption, and overall account health.

• Work closely with customers to increase product and feature adoption, improve their online availability and ultimately grow their business through our partnership.
• Become a trusted adviser to our customers and influencing an ongoing retention of their business with us.
• Support Account Managers with administrative and operational account management tasks.
• Resolve assigned customer cases and tasks, ensuring timely follow-up and clear communication.
• Partner with Customer Support, Billing, and Sales teams to ensure a seamless experience for our restaurant partners, acting as a bridge to resolve billing or technical hurdles.
• Prepare and complete account management admin work such as contract preparation, operational follow-up and internal coordination.
• Support execution of customer and account workflows including customer communications, and following up on internal approvals.
• Pull and organise data from Salesforce and other sources to support meeting prep, reporting, audits, and customer follow-up.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication records in Salesforce and related systems to ensure account data integrity.
• Help Account Managers stay focused on higher-value strategic conversations by taking ownership of repeatable admin and coordination work.
• Provide lighter-touch customer assistance, training, and follow-up where appropriate.
• Contribute to team goals by helping improve process consistency, turnaround times, and the overall customer experience.

Qualifications

• An organised, detail‑oriented professional with a sharp eye for detail, skilled at documentation, time management, and keeping multiple priorities moving.
• Capable of combining quality customer interaction with a strong internal administrative and operational focus.
• A collaborative teammate who partners effectively across departments and clearly communicates complex information in any format to help others succeed.
• A strong communicator who builds genuine rapport with customers and internal stakeholders, bringing a hospitality mindset to even the most administrative tasks.
• A curious, proactive problem-solver who takes ownership, balances internal support with targeted customer outreach, and exercises sound judgment about when to act independently and when to escalate.
• Comfortable using Salesforce, Google Workspace, AI, and other business systems to manage tasks, documentation, and reporting, with strong CRM proficiency and a demonstrated ability to quickly learn new software and internal tools.
• Interested in hospitality, restaurant operations, and helping customers get value from OpenTable’s products and services.
• Experienced in account management, customer success, customer support, operations, or a similar role is preferred.
