[Hiring] Associate Account Executive @Marsh McLennan

Role Description

As our Associate Account Executive on the Personal Lines team, you’ll be responsible for the following:

• Provide the highest quality service to customers and cross-sell within the existing book of business.
• Act as the day-to-day liaison between the insurance company (MIB) and designated accounts.
• Assist in managing relationships with clients (business managers and/or individual customers).
• Daily servicing of customers will include:
  • Addressing various coverage issues.
  • Contract analysis.
  • Exposure analysis.
  • Handling and/or directing all inside service work associated with clients’ accounts.
  • Managing endorsement activity, routine coverage questions, problem solving, renewal control, and preparation of formal proposals.
  • Checking and binding policies.
• Inform the Producer on strategic account issues, claims, and other potential problems.
• Oversee all processes related to renewals and account management, ensuring Standard Operating Guidelines (SOGs) are followed for all insurance transactions.

Qualifications

• Build and maintain constructive and effective relationships with clients by meeting and exceeding client expectations.
• Provide consistent, accurate, timely, and pertinent communication to clients.
• Respond to client inquiries/issues within a 24-hour timeline.
• Resolve/assist with any service or claims issues/questions.
• Assist in designing or independently design insurance plans for clients.
• Attend face-to-face meetings with clients to review summary reports and maintain relationships.
• Inform and educate clients about coverage, exclusions, and exposures.
• Monitor and review client satisfaction at least quarterly.
• Cross-sell and/or refer new business leads to appropriate departments.
• Stay updated on carrier websites, communications, new coverage options, and billing procedures.
• Quote new business and renewal options to every client, including various coverage options.
• Review and check policies based on SOG checklists.
• Assist in managing Accounts Receivables for the book.
• Maintain agency EPIC files accurately and consistently.

Requirements

• College Degree preferred (high school diploma is required).
• Current California Department of Insurance License.
• 3-7 years of experience.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
