Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of personal insurance business and serve as a primary point of contact for clients.
• Respond promptly and professionally to client questions, requests, and service needs.
• Recommend appropriate coverage options, limits, deductibles, endorsements, and other policy modifications based on identified needs and client preferences.
• Explain coverage, policy provisions, exclusions, limits, deductibles, endorsements, and other relevant insurance considerations in a clear and understandable manner.
• Review renewal terms and identify changes in premiums, coverage, underwriting requirements, or client circumstances.
• Communicate renewal option and recommendations to clients and coordinate timely completion of renewal activities.
• Process endorsements, policy changes, certificates or evidence of insurance, billing inquiries, cancellations, reinstatements, and other routine account servicing activities as appropriate.
• Identify opportunities to retain and grow the assigned book of business through account rounding, cross-selling, and additional lines of insurance.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and current client and policy information in the agency management system.

Qualifications

• High school graduate. Some college or a bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Active 4-40, 2-20, or 20-44 Florida Property and Casualty license.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of agency or relevant insurance experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
• Advanced customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook; Applied Epic experience is a plus.
