[Hiring] Account Manager- Associate @iCapital

Role Description

iCapital is looking to hire an Associate Account Manager to work with distributor clients to adopt end-to-end sales automation InsureTech solutions. This role will strategically manage and expand relationships with distributor clients. This individual will play a pivotal role in overall client health, driving adoption of our platform, ensuring clients maximize its benefits through comprehensive training and expanded usage. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Strategic Account Management, this individual will be able to work independently to define strategic approaches within their assigned accounts and execute on the strategy tactically.

• Develop and execute strategic account plans that strengthen client relationships, support retention, and align iCapital solutions with client business objectives.
• Manage relationships with assigned distributor accounts by serving as the primary point of contact for executive and operational stakeholders.
• Analyze client health, platform usage, business priorities, and growth opportunities through regular business reviews and strategic engagement.
• Advise clients on strategic initiatives, operational efficiencies, and best practices to drive successful business outcomes.
• Identify risks, client needs, and expansion opportunities, and implement action plans to support retention and growth.
• Lead platform implementation, onboarding, training, and ongoing support to maximize client adoption and utilization.
• Advocate for client priorities by serving as the voice of the customer and partnering with internal teams to deliver effective solutions.
• Collaborate with the Product, Client Delivery, Production Support, Sales, and Leadership teams to coordinate resources and resolve client issues.
• Support the resolution of escalated client matters through proactive communication, stakeholder alignment, and follow-through.
• Partner with the Sales team to deepen client engagement and support strategic growth initiatives while maintaining clear ownership boundaries for commercial discussions.
• Mentor Account Analysts through coaching, knowledge sharing, and best-practice development.
• Maintain accurate account plans, client activity records, and strategic documentation within Salesforce and other approved systems.
• Participate in industry events, conferences, and advisory groups to strengthen industry expertise and professional networks.
• Complete ad-hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in strategic account management, relationship management, customer success, consulting, or similar client-facing leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of life insurance, annuity products, carrier operations, and insurance distribution.
• Demonstrated success managing complex enterprise client relationships and executive stakeholders.
• Strong strategic planning, communication, presentation, and consultative problem-solving skills.
• Able to influence outcomes across multiple departments without direct authority.
• Experience developing and executing strategic account plans.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Able to travel up to 50% of the time.

Benefits

• The base salary range for this role is $70,000 to $80,000.
