[Hiring] Account Manager @O'Neils Recruitment

Role Description

We're recruiting an experienced Account Manager to join a well-established retail execution and field marketing business. This is a senior, client-facing role with responsibility for the strategic and operational leadership of a key retail account.

• Taking ownership of the client relationship and agreed annual account plan
• Leading, coaching and developing the wider account team
• Monitoring performance against KPIs, service levels and client expectations
• Using field data, insight and client feedback to improve delivery
• Managing budgets, forecasting, costs and overall account profitability
• Identifying opportunities for new initiatives, additional services and account growth
• Presenting performance updates and strategic recommendations to clients and senior stakeholders
• Working closely with field, insight, operations and head-office teams

Qualifications

• Experienced account leader with a strong background in retail, field marketing, FMCG or a related client-services environment
• Commercially aware and confident managing senior client relationships
• Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on operational delivery
• Strong people leadership, presentation and communication skills
• Experience of managing budgets, performance and competing priorities
• Collaborative and proactive approach

Requirements

• Home-based, 12-month fixed-term contract
• Regular UK travel for client meetings, team meetings and field visits
