[Hiring] Account Manager @Lima Charlie

Role Description

We're looking for a driven, organized Account Manager based remotely in LATAM to help grow our Emergency Response business. Reporting to the Director of Emergency Response, you'll generate new prospect activity, follow up on leads, prepare for industry events, and move contacts through the early sales process until a meeting or qualified opportunity is in place. This is a pre-award sales role focused on building the pipeline. Your job is to make sure every relationship and lead turns into a documented next step, a scheduled conversation, or a qualified opportunity. This position is located in Columbia.

Prospecting & Outreach

• Conduct targeted outreach to emergency management agencies, state and local governments, disaster-response organizations, consulting firms, prime contractors, teaming partners, and referral sources.
• Engage decision-makers through email, phone, LinkedIn, referrals, and networking, with personalized follow-up that uncovers housing needs and secures meetings with the Director.

Lead Follow-Up & Meeting Coordination

• Take ownership of leads handed off by the Director and follow through until the next step is complete.
• Schedule meetings with prospective clients, partners, and referral sources, confirming purpose, participants, timing, and next steps.

Event Preparation & Follow-Up

• Research attendees, build target lists, and request meetings ahead of emergency-response and disaster-housing events.
• Prepare briefing materials and meeting objectives, then follow up promptly after each event to qualify needs and schedule next conversations.

Qualification & Opportunity Development

• Lead or support initial conversations to understand location, incident or program need, timing, housing scope, volume, decision process, and partner structure.
• Advance qualified opportunities to the appropriate internal stage, or close out unqualified leads with a documented reason.

Pipeline Management & Reporting

• Maintain an accurate, up-to-date pipeline in Monday.com, entering new leads within one business day and updating records after every meaningful interaction.
• Deliver a weekly report covering outreach, meetings, active opportunities, estimated revenue, risks, and decisions needed.

Internal Collaboration

• Set up qualified opportunities within one business day, including the project record, shared workspace, and initial Executive Summary, and loop in the proposal team.
• Coordinate with Proposal & RFP, Supply Chain, Revenue Management, Marketing, and Operations to keep actions moving and deadlines on track.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of experience in business development, account management, or B2B sales, ideally in government contracting, emergency management, disaster response, or lodging/hospitality.
• Comfort with high-volume, consistent outreach across email, phone, and LinkedIn.
• Strong organizational skills and a habit of documenting every interaction and next step.
• Experience using a CRM or project management platform (Monday.com experience is a plus).
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage a busy executive's calendar and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Self-motivation and follow-through: you move things forward without waiting to be asked.
• Familiarity with public-sector procurement or the disaster-housing landscape is a strong plus.
