[Hiring] Account Manager @IPEX Group

Role Description

We currently have an exciting opportunity as an Account Manager. This integral and highly visible role is fully remote (United States or Canada) with up to 35% travel.

This strategic role combines business segment development, account management, sales engineering, technical sales support, and market development. The Account Manager will lead growth of the assigned portfolio by:

• Developing customer relationships
• Enabling sales excellence
• Pursuing new business opportunities within specified markets
• Driving market strategy

You will own growth of assigned portfolios, serve as the senior relationship owner for the portfolio, and act as a trusted technical and commercial advisor to customers, engineers, distributors, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

This role manages around 35% travel.

Portfolio Segments:

• Cooling Tower portfolio, with strong emphasis on Data Center Cooling Technologies
• Key Accounts under Multi Fittings
• Multi Fittings technical sales, engineering, and product management support

What You Will Do

• Business Segment & Market Development:
  • Establish yourself internally and in the market as the recognized leader of the portfolio.
  • Lead business strategy for the Cooling Tower portfolio, focusing on Data Center Cooling.
  • Track sales trends and oversee the execution of forecast management.
  • Identify strategic and profitable growth opportunities.
  • Oversee go-to-market decisions and represent IPEX at industry events.
  • Gather customer insights and translate them into product solutions.
• Account Management:
  • Build and maintain deep, partner-level relationships with stakeholders.
  • Maintain a high profile for IPEX / Multi Fittings within key accounts.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans that drive revenue growth.
  • Lead portfolio discussions with Sales Leadership.
• Sales Engineering & Technical Enablement:
  • Serve as the senior technical resource for the portfolio.
  • Collaborate with various departments to support business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business is required.
• 3–5 years of relevant sales and/or product management experience in waterworks distribution, cooling tower systems, data center cooling technologies.
• Working knowledge of design plans, construction processes, codes, specifications, and product applications.
• Strong technical, analytical, negotiating, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Highly organized with strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel; familiarity with CRM. Basic CAD is an asset.
