[Hiring] Technical Account Manager Intern @Incubyte

Role Description

This internship is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals with a technical or engineering background who are keen to build a career in client-facing account management.

You'll work closely with our Technical Account Managers and support the day-to-day operations that keep our client accounts running smoothly. This is an execution-focused role. Your primary job is to make sure nothing gets dropped, and that every record, document, and follow-up is accurate and on time.

Outcomes You'll Own

• Operational reliability: follow-ups, deadlines, and action items are tracked and closed, with nothing falling through the cracks.
• Data accuracy: account information stays correct and consistent across CRM, ERP, and internal records.
• Paperwork done right: client documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
• Dependable support: Account Managers can rely on you to take tasks off their plate and see them through to closure.

Activities That Drive These Outcomes (illustrative, not exhaustive)

• Keep CRM/ERP and account records up to date, down to client-specific details.
• Support the weekly account snapshot by gathering and verifying data on runway, headcount, and invoicing.
• Help prepare client paperwork, including security questionnaires, vendor onboarding forms, and due diligence documents.
• Track action items from client meetings, monthly readouts, and QBRs, and follow up until they're closed.
• Assist in maintaining account plans and stakeholder maps.
• Coordinate with People Success and recruiting on staffing updates when needed.
• Document repeated tasks and processes so they're easy for others to follow.
• Flag inconsistencies, gaps, or risks to your Account Manager early.

Qualifications

• A technical or engineering background (degree or equivalent exposure), with curiosity about how software teams work.
• Strong attention to detail. You notice when numbers don't match or a field is missing.
• Thoroughness in your work and a habit of double-checking before calling something done.
• Comfort handling documentation, forms, and structured data.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• An ownership mindset: you take tasks to closure without needing reminders.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Familiarity with spreadsheets. Exposure to CRM or ERP tools is a plus, but not required.
