Who What Wear is looking for an Assistant Beauty Editor to join our award-winning culture in our NY or LA offices. If you’re creative, innovative, and have an unmatched passion for all things beauty, shopping, and trends, we want to hear from you.

What you'll be doing...

Reporting to the Beauty Director, you will be a storyteller with a passion for beauty. You will pitch, write, and build daily beauty articles for WhoWhatWear.com spanning in-depth product reviews, sale roundups, SEO content, celebrity interview features, trending beauty stories, and more. You will work with the beauty team on editorial tentpoles, features, and franchises that build on Who What Wear’s brand equity and maintain existing franchises. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to generate innovative content ideas that delight readers and drive results for WWW.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve...

• 2+ years of experience writing beauty-specific content for a digital publication
• Can envision and execute beautifully-packaged features 
• Creative - able to approach our traditionally top-performing story categories with a natural desire to make decisions informed by data and performance.
• Success at collaborating with multiple teams across business categories, including distribution, art, sales, and data teams
• General working knowledge of affiliate marketing, HTML, CMS, and SEO tools—easily able to study and track analytics to improve performance.
• Comfortable interviewing celebrities or experts for beauty features or interview pieces
• Awareness of the latest trends and buzzy topics within the beauty space—has an excitement to create content for Instagram, TikTok, and WWW’s other social platforms
