Role Description

We are looking for a Translator to interpret written pieces from English to Swedish, making sure to maintain their original meaning, format, and tone.

  • Read and thoroughly understand the context of a given material (copy)
  • Use specialized dictionaries and translation tools
  • Proofread finished pieces of work

Qualifications

  • Native Swedish Speaker
  • Availability of at least 3-5 hours a week
  • Proven work experience as a Translator, Interpreter, or similar role
  • Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
  • Good knowledge of content editing tools
  • Familiarity with translation software
  • Time-management skills

Benefits

  • For the first 6 months, we are offering $15 per hour
  • Hourly compensation accounts for the time spent on researching, brainstorming, and proofreading
  • Aim for a 10% increment in your first year working with us
  • Currently have a team of 10+ translators with a constantly growing translations team
