[Hiring] Traditional Chinese AI Trainer @24-MAG

Role Description

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for professionals with broad general knowledge, advanced academic training, and native-level Traditional Chinese language skills. This role supports the development of an AI evaluation dataset through the creation of original multiple-choice questions in Traditional Chinese. Selected professionals will design challenging exam-style questions across broad knowledge domains, develop credible answer options, and provide clear worked solutions demonstrating the reasoning behind each correct answer.

Key Responsibilities

• General Knowledge Question Development
  • Create original multiple-choice questions in Traditional Chinese across a broad range of general-knowledge topics.
  • Develop questions that test reasoning, applied knowledge, and subject understanding.
  • Design appropriately challenging exam-style questions and scenarios.
  • Ensure content is factually accurate, clearly written, and unambiguous.
  • Draw on academic and professional expertise when developing assessment content.
• Multiple-Choice Answer Design
  • Produce ten answer options for each question.
  • Identify one clearly correct answer while developing credible alternative options.
  • Avoid ambiguous, overlapping, or trivially incorrect answer choices.
  • Maintain appropriate difficulty and differentiation between response options.
  • Ensure answer sets effectively assess knowledge and reasoning ability.
• Worked Solutions & Reasoning
  • Provide clear worked solutions explaining the correct answer.
  • Present reasoning in a structured and logically consistent manner.
  • Explain relevant concepts, calculations, or contextual information where required.
  • Ensure solutions fully support the selected answer.
  • Review reasoning for completeness and internal consistency.
• Content Quality & AI Evaluation Support
  • Review completed questions for factual, linguistic, and structural accuracy.
  • Maintain consistent quality standards across assessment content.
  • Follow project-specific formatting and evaluation guidelines.
  • Identify and correct unclear wording, ambiguity, or inconsistencies.
  • Produce high-quality Traditional Chinese content suitable for AI evaluation and training datasets.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in a relevant academic discipline.
• Approximately 2–6 years of professional experience.
• Broad general knowledge and strong analytical reasoning skills.
• Native-level Traditional Chinese proficiency.
• Educated in or based in Taiwan or Hong Kong.
• Strong written communication skills and ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
• Excellent attention to detail and confidence working independently.
• Ability to develop challenging and original assessment content.
• Experience with education, assessment design, research, technical writing, or content evaluation is advantageous.

Requirements

• Part-time independent contractor engagement.
• Fully remote.
• Flexible scheduling.
• Compensation: $35–$45/hour.
• Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded based on project needs and performance.
• Work must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, institution, or other third party.
• H1-B and STEM OPT support is unavailable for this engagement.
