  • Work autonomously while collaborating closely with engineers, architects, product owners, program managers, subject matter experts, and customer stakeholders to transform complex technical information into concise, usable, and high-quality deliverables.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Write, edit, update, and maintain technical and administrative materials, including reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, process guides, technical publications, operating procedures, and maintenance documentation.

  • Coordinate technical-publication activities for complex technical, scientific, healthcare, business, and administrative content.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, application engineers, cloud engineers, system administrators, DevSecOps personnel, product owners, program managers, and business stakeholders to gather, validate, organize, and document information.
  • Translate complex technical, operational, cloud, and business concepts into clear, concise, accurate, and user-friendly documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Support documentation required for application changes, cloud migration activities, release management, system maintenance, process improvement, compliance, and operational readiness.
  • Produce and maintain technical diagrams, process flows, document templates, presentations, and other visual communication materials using approved publishing and collaboration tools.
  • Apply industry documentation practices, technical-publication standards, style guides, document-control requirements, and quality-assurance processes to all work products.
  • Manage document reviews, stakeholder comments, version control, approvals, publication activities, and repository updates in accordance with established processes.
  • Represent the program team during internal and external meetings, stakeholder engagements, project reviews, and specific customer-facing initiatives.
  • Independently develop solutions to technical-writing and document-management challenges of moderate complexity, using established policies, procedures, and best practices for guidance.
  • Manage multiple writing, editing, and document-development assignments concurrently while maintaining quality, accuracy, consistency, and schedule commitments.
  • Identify documentation gaps and recommend improvements to templates, processes, technical content, and knowledge-management practices.
  • Maintain awareness of evolving cloud technologies, documentation practices, technical-publication standards, and customer requirements to continuously enhance document quality and usefulness.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience developing, editing, and maintaining technical documentation, reports, manuals, procedures, process guides, proposals, and other business or technical publications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail, grammar, style, organization, consistency, and document quality.
  • Ability to translate complex technical, operational, application, cloud, and business information into clear, concise, accurate, and user-friendly documentation.
  • Experience collaborating with subject matter experts, program managers, engineers, system administrators, application teams, and business stakeholders to gather and validate technical information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and document-collaboration tools, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Visio.
  • Experience developing process documentation, standard operating procedures, technical runbooks, user guides, training materials, release notes, and operational manuals.
  • Knowledge of technical-publication standards, document-control procedures, version-management practices, formatting conventions, and style guides.
  • Experience reviewing, editing, and coordinating content developed by multiple writers, technical contributors, or subject matter experts.
  • Familiarity with content-management systems, document repositories, workflow tools, and collaborative document-development practices.
  • Experience with document layout, presentation development, technical diagrams, visual communication, and publishing tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and competing priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, apply sound judgment, prioritize work effectively, and resolve issues proactively.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and representing an organization during customer, program, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Experience supporting proposal development, government contracting, defense, engineering, technology, healthcare, or professional-services organizations.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, customer-focused, and adaptable to changing priorities and business requirements.
  • Commitment to producing accurate, complete, polished, and high-quality deliverables.
