[Hiring] Technical Translator Intern @Infineon

Role Description

• Proofread and edit machine-translated technical documents from English to Chinese to meet quality standards.
• Ensure translations accurately reflect the original content's meaning, format, and tone, and correct terminology is consistently used.
• Create, update, and manage glossary terms to ensure consistent terminology and adherence to established quality standards.
• Organize and manage translation files and records.
• Prepare translated files for publishing.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate student is preferred.
• Major in English translation, electrical engineering, computer science or a related field.
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese, with strong attention to detail and accuracy in translations.
• Ability to leverage AI technologies for translation tasks and contribute to the development of translation automation tools is an advantage.
• Experience in glossary management or desktop publishing is a plus.
• Fast learner, self-motivated, able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• At least 3 days a week; candidate who can work for 6 months is preferred. Remote work policy also applies.
