Role Description

The position of Technical Documentation Specialist is responsible for gathering, organizing, and maintaining documents pertaining to R&D activities, working with sales, purchasing, and quality. Key functions include:

• Raw material qualification
• Creation of material specifications
• Price quotes

They will report to the Food and Dietary R&D Manager.

What you'll do:

• Collect, organize, and submit raw material documentation to the Quality team
• Create and maintain internal raw material specifications
• Identify suitable material replacements by comparing specifications
• Request and organize raw material price quotes
• Prepare costing sheets for new formulas
• Roll out umbrella updates to manufacturing procedures

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Technical background with an understanding of food R&D, specifications, and testing requirements
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexibility to go between multiple tasks

Requirements

• Bonus points for a Bachelor's Degree in a scientific field
• History of Laboratory Experience, R&D work, or Quality preferred
• Familiarity with Deacom
• Familiarity with Excel
