Role Description
We're looking for a Technical Content Writer with a strong cybersecurity background to own how we explain our technology to the world. You'll turn deep, complex security and AI work into content that's credible to practitioners and compelling to a broader audience β the primary voice behind our technical writing, not a general marketing generalist.
-
Own technical content strategy and production end-to-end
-
Write technical blog posts, deep-dive explainers, whitepapers, and product breakdowns based on security research and engineering work
-
Translate complex security workflows and AI concepts into clear, accurate, credible writing for a technical audience
-
Work directly with founders, researchers, and engineers to source material and validate accuracy
-
Adapt long-form technical content into shorter pieces for LinkedIn, X/Twitter, and other channels
-
Identify trends, research, and news hooks in cyber & AI worth writing about
-
Support conference presence with technical write-ups and post-event content
-
Track content performance and iterate based on what resonates with a technical audience
Qualifications
-
3+ years of experience in technical writing, content creation, or a related hybrid role
-
Must have hands-on cybersecurity experience or background β a security practitioner's understanding of the space, not writing from the outside looking in
-
Proven track record writing technical content β real published examples of deep-dive posts, explainers, or documentation, not just marketing copy
-
Experience working with top-tier cybersecurity media (e.g. The Hacker News, Dark Reading, BleepingComputer, SecurityWeek, CyberScoop, Krebs on Security)
-
Hands-on experience using AI tools for content and research workflows
-
Excellent English writing skills, with the ability to write for both technical and general audiences
-
Ability to organize a lightweight content pipeline, including calendar, sourcing, and timelines
-
Proactive, ownership-driven mindset; comfortable operating in an early-stage startup
Content Types & Channels
-
Technical blog posts, whitepapers, and deep-dive explainers
-
Company blog and website
-
LinkedIn, X/Twitter
-
AI-assisted writing and research tools
