Role Description

As a Technical Content Creator, you'll transform complex technical information into clear, engaging and practical learning content. You'll combine excellent writing, instructional design and hands-on technical expertise to help people understand and apply technology with confidence. You will develop enablement content using AI workflows.

Your contribution centres on five outcomes:

• Technical credibility: You understand OpenAI Codex, APIs, cloud technologies and developer workflows through practical experience and can explain how they work.
• Clear technical storytelling: You simplify complex concepts without losing important detail or accuracy.
• Effective learning experiences: You create structured, engaging content that helps audiences build knowledge and apply new skills.
• Independent content ownership: You manage assigned content deliverables, balancing quality, accuracy and timelines.
• Quality and continuous improvement: You validate information, collaborate with SMEs and use feedback and AI tools to improve how content is created.

You're expected to work independently, interpret complex briefs, exercise sound judgement and proactively resolve challenges within your expertise.

You own the quality and effectiveness of your content while working within the wider programme direction and agreed client commitments.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience using OpenAI Codex in software development or AI-assisted coding workflows.
• Understanding of APIs, authentication, endpoints, requests and responses, data structures, integrations, cloud environments and error handling.
• Experience creating learning or enablement content for enterprise, B2B, SaaS or developer audiences.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, capable of simplifying complexity without sacrificing accuracy.
• Understanding of instructional design and how to create content that supports practical learning and behaviour change.
• Comfortable interpreting technical documentation and validating information with SMEs.
• Proactive, organised, collaborative and comfortable owning complex content deliverables.
• Ability to integrate quickly into an active team and deliver high-quality work with minimal ramp-up time.

Requirements

• Demonstrable, hands-on experience using OpenAI Codex.
• Ability to explain Codex capabilities, practical applications, limitations and use cases.
• Ability to interpret developer documentation, technical specifications and implementation guides.
• Experience in creating structured, engaging content that helps audiences build knowledge.
• Ability to manage assigned content independently, maintaining clear timelines and documentation.
