Role Description
We're looking for a sharp, versatile Senior Copywriter to own copy across some of Phiture's biggest accounts, including one of Europeβs biggest mobile gaming companies, the USAβs largest retailer, a fintech that keeps families connected across borders, and a fast-growing productivity app.
You'll join a close-knit creative pod, working side by side with our Creative Lead, designers, and Growth Consultants. Together, you'll:
-
Turn briefs, audience insights, and testing hypotheses into conversion-focused copy that reaches millions of users in app stores around the world.
-
See how your messaging performs, learn from every test, and use those insights to make the next round sharper.
-
Switch between very different brands, tones, and formats, often within tight character limits and on deadlines tied to larger experiments.
This isn't copywriting in a vacuum. It's a role for a writer who cares as much about why copy works as how it sounds, and who wants to grow into ASO, experimentation, and creative strategy.
Qualifications
-
Native-level English copywriting ability, with excellent grammar, editorial skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
-
Proven experience in a senior copywriting role, writing compelling digital copy across different formats and brands.
-
Strategic and commercial thinking: you can find the real user benefit in a brief and explain why your copy will work, not just why it sounds good.
-
A strong portfolio that shows range across brand voices and clear, benefit-led messaging.
-
Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with full ownership of quality, priorities, and delivery.
-
A collaborative mindset: you enjoy working closely with designers and strategists, and respond constructively to feedback.
-
Confident communication with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.
-
Experience in a creative or digital agency, ideally in mobile, performance, or growth marketing.
-
Experience with ASO, SEO, UX, or performance copywriting is a plus, but not essential; we'll teach you the ASO side.
-
Curiosity about products, audiences, and the data behind them.
Requirements
-
Own copy delivery across your assigned accounts, from brief interpretation through to final QA on production and market localisation.
-
Translate creative briefs, audience insights, and testing hypotheses into clear, conversion-focused copy, and ask the right questions when context or objectives are missing.
-
Write across a range of formats, including:
-
App store metadata, screenshot captions, and in-app events.
-
Promotional content, storyboards, and CRM campaigns.
-
Build deep knowledge of each client's brand, products, features, and audiences, understanding not just what we're promoting, but why.
-
Switch confidently between distinct brand voices, formats, and markets, keeping each brand's identity intact while leaving room for creative testing.
-
Partner closely with designers so that copy and visuals work towards the same objective.
-
Write English source copy that translates well, and adapt messaging for different English-speaking markets.
-
Use creative testing and performance results to shape your recommendations and bring new ideas to the table.
-
Present and explain your creative rationale in meetings, alongside the Creative Lead.
-
Brief, guide, and review freelance copywriters when the workload calls for it.
-
Carry client feedback, brand preferences, and past learnings into every new piece of work.
-
Run copy QA and proofreading, including checking final designs for accuracy, localisation, and consistency.
-
Plan your own workload and capacity, flagging risks early so copy never holds up design, testing, or launches.
-
Use AI tools thoughtfully to work smarter, with the judgement to critically edit what they produce.
Benefits
-
We encourage all qualified individuals to apply, regardless of their age, gender identity, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability status, or religion.
-
We celebrate diversity and are excited about building teams that represent a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills.
-
All employment decisions are based on qualifications, merit, and business needs.
