Role Description
The client is seeking a senior-level content marketer to own the end-to-end content lifecycle, from ideation through CMS publishing and on-page SEO optimization, serving as a dedicated resource to build a consistent, repeatable organic content engine.
-
Write, edit, and refresh content across blog posts, service pages, case studies, gated assets, email, and social media, covering both net-new creation and reworking of existing content.
-
Build and publish new pages directly in WordPress and HubSpot from existing templates, updating metadata and completing publishing QA without requiring internal handoffs.
-
Execute on-page SEO across all published content, including title tags, meta descriptions, image alt text, internal linking, heading structure, and schema markup via CMS plugins.
-
Conduct keyword and topic research aligned to an established SEO strategy, prioritizing striking-distance keywords, high-value service and industry pages, and strong non-brand blog posts.
-
Interview internal subject matter experts and transform those conversations into blog posts, LinkedIn long-form pieces, supporting social posts, and newsletter material.
-
Build and maintain a weekly publishing cadence anchored by larger content assets, including ebooks, original data studies, and long-form research pieces, each distributed across channels.
-
Track and report monthly on content impact using Search Console, Ahrefs, Peec.ai, and GA4, providing a view beyond keyword rankings alone.
Qualifications
-
Proven B2B content marketing experience with demonstrated SEO fluency, hands-on keyword research, and on-page optimization skills.
-
Portfolio of published B2B or agency work showing a mix of long-form thought leadership or blog content and supporting social media content.
-
Hands-on CMS publishing experience in WordPress, including building pages from existing templates, formatting content, updating metadata, and publishing independently.
-
Strong writing skills with the ability to take an AI-generated draft and produce a humanized, editorial-quality final deliverable.
-
AI fluency with the editorial judgment to use AI tools to work faster and think better, rather than for programmatic volume output.
Requirements
-
Agency-side content marketing experience, including running independent reporting, using analytics tools, and conducting keyword research without support.
-
Experience marketing an agency or B2B services firm, or working in-house at one.
-
Working knowledge of HubSpot CMS in addition to WordPress.
-
Some HTML comfort and awareness of how content presentation affects search engine and AI system readability.
-
Experience designing and reading content or page-level tests, whether A/B or control versus variant.
Benefits
-
Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, and 401K.
