As a Proposal Writer, you will be an integral part of a collaborative Commercial team focused on delivering the highest quality information to our clients and customers. Conduct searches on Canadian bid sites (e.g., MERX and Biddingo), for relevant newly released RFPs or amendments to RFPs currently in progress.

Manage the end-to-end proposal process, including writing, project management, content development, coordination of contributors, review cycles, and submission.

Partner with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Account Executives, and other subject matter experts, to evaluate opportunities, develop win strategies, and create client-focused proposal content.

Collaborate with senior leaders and business partners to develop strategic messaging that effectively communicates organizational capabilities, products, and services while aligning with corporate objectives.

Collaborate with Clinical, Operations, and Quality teams across the organization to gather, validate, and synthesize information for proposal and business development initiatives.

Participate in regular team meetings to support content strategy, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing across the team.

Edit and format proposal submissions to ensure a professional presentation, clear messaging, and a polished final product.

Conduct quality assurance reviews of proposal documents to ensure compliance, consistency, accuracy, and adherence to Homewood Health brand standards.

Maintain and enhance proposal content library, templates, and knowledge management resources to support efficient and consistent proposal development.
Qualifications

University degree in English, Journalism or other related field.

Minimum four (4) years’ experience in creative business writing including experience with proposal writing.

Experience within the Employee Assistance Program, Disability Management, insurance, benefits, or healthcare industry would be an asset.

Ability to work effectively within a deadline-driven environment.

Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build productive relationships and engage effectively with diverse stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

Proven ability to manage multiple proposal and business development projects concurrently, ensuring high-quality deliverables and on-time completion.

Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Excellent English language skills combined with exceptional verbal and written communication skills. French language skills would be considered an asset.
