Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Proofreader to join our team remotely. In this role, you will review and refine written content to ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy. You will play a key role in maintaining high editorial standards across a variety of materials.

• Review and proofread content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax errors
• Ensure consistency in tone, style, and formatting
• Verify accuracy of facts, dates, and names
• Collaborate with writers, editors, and content teams to improve overall quality
• Follow company style guides and editorial standards
• Provide constructive feedback and suggest improvements
• Meet deadlines while managing multiple projects

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a proofreader, editor, or similar role
• Excellent command of the English language (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors quickly
• Familiarity with style guides (e.g., AP, Chicago, MLA)
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Proficiency with word processing and editing tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Google Docs)
