[Hiring] Media and Content Intern @Sigma Growth Specialists

Role Description

This is an unpaid placement of four months. It starts in January 2027, takes around fifteen hours of your week, and is fully remote. You do not have to be a student, and we have no requirement about what you studied or whether you studied at all.

What you would actually do:

• Take one topic from our content calendar each week.
• Publish five pieces a week:
  • A long-form article for our blog
  • A post for LinkedIn
  • A thread on X
  • An Instagram carousel
  • A short Instagram reel
• Write, create artwork, proofread, publish, and schedule all content across five accounts.
• Record performance of each piece two weeks later.
• Run monthly research to decide future content topics.
• Follow a written procedure rather than direct supervision.
• Pair with us for the first two cycles; thereafter, manage your own week.

What you leave with:

• More than fifty published pieces with real performance metrics.
• A portfolio file built throughout the placement, including:
  • Every carousel and reel as a file
  • Every article as a link
  • A description of your contributions
  • Performance figures for each piece
• A written reference.
• A named contact who will provide a reference call.

We are not offering experience and exposure, as those terms hold little value.

Qualifications

• Ability to create content independently.
• Willingness to accept direct feedback and edits.
• Preference for written procedures over asking questions.
• Experience with Canva or similar design tools.

Requirements

• No need for Adobe, a design degree, or any certificate.

How we work, so that you can decide

• Editing is direct and not personal.
• Most drafts will be marked up in the first month.

How to apply

• Include a brief description of each piece, detailing:
  • What you used to create it
  • Your contributions versus template/tool contributions
  • Use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) and your role in the process.
• Identify the weakest piece and suggest improvements (150 words).
• Optionally, suggest one thing Sigma Growth Specialists should improve on social media (two sentences).
• No CV or cover letter required.
