Role Description

Do you have a deep understanding of the secondary Maths curriculum in the UK? Do you want to use your knowledge to help students explore maths more deeply? Are you looking for flexible, remote work? If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.

• Start date: ASAP
• Location: Remote
• Term: Freelance - minimum, regular commitment of 10 hours a week.
• Salary: £20 per hour.
• Closing Date: 27th September 2026.

Sparx Maths is our most established product, helping over 2500 schools and millions of students build and deepen their maths knowledge through personalised, independent practice. We’re looking for freelance contributors to help our team create high-quality content that supports students to think critically and engage more deeply with maths.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the English Maths curriculum, preferably evidenced by teaching or tutoring experience.
• A-level or degree in Maths.
• Excellent written communicator with great attention to detail.
• Digitally literate and able to quickly pick up new software for content writing.
• Ability to work flexibly and remotely, with access to a laptop or computer.
