Role Description

Our team is looking for experienced Linguists to support a summarization review of Mandarin (Singapore) data. The role may include:

• Reviewing, validating, and analyzing language data
• Assessing linguistic accuracy and consistency
• Performing other language-related tasks according to detailed project guidelines

Candidates will apply their linguistic knowledge to ensure high-quality deliverables while:

• Working independently
• Maintaining excellent attention to detail

This is a short-term freelance opportunity for linguists who enjoy detail-oriented work and contributing to the development of language technologies.

Qualifications

• Native speaker proficiency of Mandarin (Singapore)
• Postgraduate degree in Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, Phonetics, Language Studies, or a related field
• Excellent listening, reading, and writing skills in Mandarin (Singapore)
• Experience working with linguistic data, transcription, annotation, language quality evaluation, or similar language-focused tasks
• Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
• Ability to follow detailed linguistic guidelines and deliver high-quality work within established deadlines
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
• Previous experience supporting AI, speech, or language technology projects is a plus

• Remote work location
• 20 hours per week workload
• Independent Contractor/Freelance engagement model
• Estimated project duration: 2 weeks
