The International China Reporter Intern will cover international content focused on the China region as their regular beat for Modern Treatise.

Write a weekly column covering the social, economic, and political topics related to China from a Chinese perspective.
Special region-related coverage.

Duration: 6 months

This is a virtual and unpaid internship. Yet, you will gain valuable writing experience.

Official Start Date: ASAP

Qualifications

Adept at understanding the domestic and geopolitics of China.
Adept at understanding the nuances of domestic politics across China.
Must be able to look at geopolitical subject matters from multiple perspectives.
Adept at relying on fact-based evidence rather than political or activist wish-thinking.
Adept at understanding the ever-shifting state of the economy or economies of China.
