Role Description

Welocalize is looking for an English into Korean freelance translator with experience in the field of Life Sciences for an ongoing translation and proofreading project for multiple leading pharmaceutical providers.

• Job Title: English into Korean Medical Translator
• Location: Remote
• Expected Volume: +5000 words per week
• Start date: ASAP
• Employment Type: Freelance/Independent Contract
• Task type: Regulatory adaptation/translation
• Content types: Investigator-facing, patient-facing and pharmacy
• CAT Tool: XTM

Main Duties:

• Translate the investigational medicinal product dossier into Korean and then adapt this text to the Korean MFDS format.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience translating and editing content in the specified subject matter.
• Proficient in all areas of expertise: Investigator-facing, patient-facing and pharmacy.
• Excellent communication skills in Korean and English.
• Degree in linguistics, translation or equivalent experience.
• Able to communicate effectively the rationale behind their translation skills.
• Able to both translate and copy edit.

Requirements

• Experience with CAT Tool: working with "XTM". Welocalize will provide the credentials without any cost.
