Role Description

We're hiring an experienced Copywriter with a background in email copywriting, brand writing, creative concepting, and scriptwriting, either from an in-house ecommerce brand or agency-side. You'll write email copy, build product messaging, and develop fresh concepts for campaigns.

• Write and shape email copy efficiently.
• Concept original campaigns and content ideas, and develop them into scripts, headlines, and supporting copy across channels.
• Build messaging playbooks for product launches.
• Write video and social scripts that hold attention and earn their length.
• Write clear brand copy across landing pages, social and paid advertising, product pages, and web channels.
• Develop product descriptions, claims, and packaging copy that communicate real benefits.
• Help shape and protect a consistent brand voice across every surface a customer touches.
• Research the category, the customer, and the competition deeply enough to write with authority and evidence.
• Collaborate with designers, art directors, and strategists.
• Proofread and edit your own work and your teammate’s to a high standard.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in copywriting, preferably in CPG and e-commerce, from an in-house team or agency.
• Experience writing in supplements, fitness, health and wellness, science, or skincare is considered a strong asset.
• Strong portfolio showcasing brand writing, campaign concepting, and writing across different channels.
• Demonstrated experience writing high-performing email campaigns and product copy.
• Proven ability to translate complex scientific research into brand copy a real customer will actually understand.
• Experience writing product descriptions, claims, packaging, and social and paid advertising copy.
• Genuine interest in fitness, athletic performance, or health and wellness is considered an asset.
• Thrives in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
• Excellent storytelling skills.
• Familiarity with digital marketing practices and platforms considered an asset.
