Working alongside creative and strategic colleagues, they will:

Responsibilities

• Research industry developments:
  • Investigate mining operations, commodity trends, energy markets, resource exploration, and emerging technologies to uncover compelling stories and reliable data.
• Create engaging content:
  • Develop well-researched written narratives that translate complex technical information, industry statistics, and market developments into accessible stories and data-driven visualizations.
• Collaborate across teams:
  • Partner with writers, designers, art directors, strategists, and campaign managers to develop and deliver integrated creative campaigns.
• Contribute industry insights:
  • Participate in client briefings, production meetings, and project reviews, sharing research findings and explaining editorial recommendations.
• Advise clients:
  • Present content concepts and strategic recommendations, helping clients communicate their industry expertise and engage their target audiences effectively.
• Manage project delivery:
  • Oversee multiple assignments from initial brief to final publication, ensuring deadlines are met and content remains accurate, relevant, and engaging.
• Improve creative processes:
  • Share knowledge, evaluate project outcomes, and contribute ideas that strengthen editorial standards, research methods, and team workflows.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in content marketing, ideally supporting clients in mining, energy, natural resources, or related industrial sectors.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, strong analytical abilities, and the capacity to interpret technical information accurately.
• An understanding of mining and energy, including areas such as mineral exploration, critical minerals, commodity production, oil and gas, renewable energy, or the global energy transition.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts and communicate creative recommendations.
• Confidence using Google Workspace, particularly Sheets, and practical experience with at least one major AI platform, such as ChatGPT or Claude.
• Experience working effectively with multidisciplinary creative teams.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.

Requirements

• Experience in copywriting, digital media, or an agency environment is an asset.
• Familiarity with editorial style guides and statistical methods is beneficial.
• The ability to identify credible data sources and recognize emerging industry trends is essential.
• Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Slack, Figma, and Monday.com is an advantage.
• Experience with related fields such as engineering, infrastructure, sustainability, geopolitics, or industrial technology would be an additional asset.
