Role Description

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a talented and results-driven Content Writer & SEO Specialist to join our marketing team. This role will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimized content that strengthens our online presence, improves organic search visibility, and supports lead generation.

The ideal candidate combines excellent writing and editing skills with practical SEO knowledge, analytical thinking, and the ability to translate complex software, technology, and business concepts into clear and compelling content. Since this role supports multiple portfolio companies, the candidate must be comfortable managing different brands, industries, audiences, priorities, and content calendars.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Creation
  • Create high-quality, engaging, and SEO-friendly content for websites, blogs, landing pages, case studies, whitepapers, newsletters, and other marketing channels.
  • Research and write content around relevant industry trends, technology topics, customer challenges, and target keywords.
  • Develop content that aligns with the company’s brand voice, marketing strategy, and business objectives.
  • Develop technical content that explains software, products, features, technologies, and complex technical concepts in a clear and easy-to-understand manner.
  • Repurpose existing content into different formats to maximize its reach and impact.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, marketing teams, and internal stakeholders to gather information and develop accurate content.
  • Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, grammar, and tone.
• SEO
  • Conduct keyword research and identify content opportunities based on search intent, competition, and business priorities.
  • Optimize website pages, blogs, and other content for search engines while maintaining a strong user experience.
  • Implement on-page SEO best practices, including title tags, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking, keyword placement, and content structure.
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing content and increase organic rankings and traffic.
  • Monitor organic search performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay updated on Google algorithm changes, SEO trends, and emerging content marketing practices.
  • Work with the web/development team to address SEO-related technical and content requirements when needed.
• Content Strategy & Performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in content writing, SEO, content marketing, or a similar role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of SEO principles and on-page optimization.
• Experience conducting keyword research and using SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Ability to write for different audiences, formats, and stages of the buyer journey.
• Excellent proofreading and editing skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to understand and communicate technical or complex topics clearly.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple content projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a B2B, SaaS, technology, or software company.
• Experience creating technical or technology-focused content.
• Understanding of content marketing and lead-generation strategies.
• Basic understanding of technical SEO.
• Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted content and research tools while maintaining high standards for originality, accuracy, and quality.
• Experience with link-building or off-page SEO strategies.
