Role Description

As a Content Writer, you’ll be working with a highly collaborative cross-functional Marketing team, reporting to the Communications Lead, and will be instrumental in shaping and creating high-impact content that drives our business objectives.

  • Increase Humi's market share of voice:
    • Collaborate with the Communications Lead to establish Humi as a leading voice in the market.
  • Develop executive-level content:
    • Create high-quality content for executive communications.
  • Drive messaging through keyword strategy:
    • Achieve targeted keyword messaging and measure success through keyword performance.
  • This will include:
    • Quality, creative content – Develop engaging blog posts, articles, and campaigns that drive business impact.
    • Executive content support – Help craft thought leadership pieces and messaging for key company voices.
    • Newsjacking & commentary – Stay ahead of the curve, crafting timely takes on industry trends and regulatory shifts.
    • Innovative content formats – Experiment with new ways to tell stories, from video to podcasts and beyond.
    • Work with the rest of the Marketing team, Product Marketing, Benefits, and Sales teams to bring product updates and launches to market.
    • Support with PR initiatives and content needs.
    • Data-driven storytelling – Use analytics to measure content performance and optimize future content strategies.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years experience working as a journalist or in an editorial/content role in a business.
  • A journalist’s mindset—curious, deadline-driven, and able to turn complex topics into clear, engaging stories.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt to different formats and audiences.
  • A self-starter mentality—comms moves fast, and you know there’s always a story to tell.
  • Experience in SEO, editorial, or corporate comms (B2B SaaS or employment-related industries a plus).
  • Project management skills to juggle multiple initiatives while delivering high-quality work.
  • You are a strong communicator with stellar relationship management skills.
  • You are team-oriented and can continue to thrive while working independently in fast-paced environments.
