Role Description

Write compelling, informative, and SEO-optimized content on topics related to personal finance, loans, credit cards, and business financing.
Produce a variety of content types, including blog articles, website pages, landing pages, FAQs, product descriptions, and newsletters.
Translate complex financial concepts into easy-to-understand and engaging copy that appeals to a broad audience.
Conduct thorough research on financial topics to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
Write SEO-friendly content by incorporating targeted keywords, meta descriptions, and headings to improve organic search rankings.
Contribute ideas for new content formats and topics that resonate with our audience’s financial challenges and aspirations.
Review and edit content for clarity and adherence to the brand’s voice and tone.
Ensure all content is accurate, legally compliant, and free from errors.
Collaborate with brand team, design, and product teams to ensure consistency in messaging across all channels.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role, preferably in financing industry.
Experience writing about finance, loans, credit cards, and small business financing.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Excellent understanding of SEO best practices and experience writing SEO-optimized content.
Ability to simplify complex topics and present them in an engaging, easy-to-understand manner.
Strong research skills, with the ability to source and verify information from reliable outlets.
Understanding of content marketing strategies and lead generation.
Knowledge of digital marketing and social media trends.
Excellent time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Ahrefs, or SEMrush to track content performance.
