Role Description

The is responsible for performing quality assurance (QA) on technical and support content related to consumer technology, including IoT devices, smartphones, computers, smart home products, and home appliances. Acting as the final validation point before publication, this role helps ensure customers receive accurate, relevant, and high-quality content.

This position is primarily focused on Spanish-language content QA and translation support, while also reviewing and publishing English-language content. The ideal candidate combines exceptional writing and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail and a genuine passion for technology.

Working within a global, fully remote team, this role offers the opportunity to influence the customer experience, identify content improvement opportunities, and stay current with emerging consumer technologies.

Qualifications

• Fluent in both Spanish and English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and content quality assurance experience.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a highly analytical mindset.
• Demonstrated interest in technology, such as consumer electronics, IoT devices, smartphones, gaming, computers, applications, or emerging technologies.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fully remote environment.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to provide constructive feedback to cross-functional teams.
• Experience prioritizing workloads and managing tasks with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Perform quality assurance reviews of Spanish-language content and provide support for English-language content, including user manuals, troubleshooting articles, how-to guides, videos, and blog content.
• Review content for accuracy, grammar, spelling, formatting, categorization, device associations, and adherence to established style and quality standards.
• Support the translation process from English to Spanish by translating content or reviewing AI-generated translations to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Approve, publish, or reject content within the Content Management System (CMS), providing clear and actionable feedback when revisions are required.
• Identify content gaps, missing device coverage, and opportunities to improve content quality, completeness, and customer experience.
• Stay informed on emerging technology trends, new product releases, and consumer devices to support content strategy and quality efforts.
• Collaborate closely with content creators, curated content analysts, translators, and global QA peers.
• Independently manage QA workflows and priorities while maintaining high standards of quality and timeliness.
