[Hiring] Content Producer @Somewhere

Role Description

We are building a content engine, and this is one of its first hires. Our leadership has deep expertise and a strong point of view, but not the time to produce content at the volume our growth demands. This role exists to close that gap: to take raw material — founder brain dumps, call and webinar recordings, half-formed ideas — and turn it into a steady stream of polished, on-brand content that builds our audience and drives pipeline.

This is a hands-on production role. You will edit, create, package, and publish across our channels, working closely with leadership to translate their voice and expertise into content that performs. As the function grows, there is real room to take on more scope and ownership.

Key Responsibilities

• Video Production & Editing
  • Edit long-form source material (webinars, live build sessions, interviews) into polished, publish-ready pieces.
  • Cut long-form content into short-form clips optimized for LinkedIn, YouTube, and other social channels.
  • Add captions, motion graphics, and consistent on-brand styling.
• Content Creation & Repurposing
  • Turn founder brain dumps, recordings, and existing assets into multiple content formats — clips, posts, graphics, and written snippets.
  • Adapt and maintain a consistent brand voice across everything you produce.
  • Keep a healthy content pipeline so channels never go quiet.
• Publishing & Scheduling
  • Schedule and publish content across LinkedIn, YouTube, and our content hub.
  • Own and maintain the content calendar.
• Design & Assets
  • Create supporting graphics, thumbnails, and visual assets.
  • Keep all output aligned to brand standards.
• Performance & Iteration
  • Track engagement and performance, and iterate toward what works.
  • Bring ideas for new formats and content plays.
• AI-Assisted Workflows
  • Use AI tools to speed up editing, repurposing, and drafting without sacrificing quality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in content production and/or video editing, ideally in a B2B or agency environment.
• Strong proficiency with video editing tools (e.g., Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, After Effects).
• Proven experience producing short-form social content, especially for LinkedIn.
• A strong design eye and ability to create clean graphics and thumbnails (Figma, Canva, or Adobe).
• Strong written English and an instinct for voice, tone, and pacing.
• A portfolio or reel demonstrating range across video and social formats.
• Self-directed with fast, reliable turnaround.
• Meaningful overlap with U.S. Eastern business hours for collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience creating content for B2B tech, SaaS, or professional services.
• Comfort quickly learning technical subject matter (CRM, AI, go-to-market).
• Experience building content from executive or founder raw material, or personal-brand / thought-leadership content.
• Familiarity with AI content tools for video, audio, and repurposing.
• Experience with scheduling tools and light content analytics.
